Privacy and cookies

This page explains what personal data we collect on micus-barn.ro, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. In short: we use your data only to reply and send you offers, we use no tracking or advertising cookies, and we never sell your data.

What the offer form collects
Your name, email address or phone number, event date, number of guests, type of event and your message.
Your IP address and the time you sent the form, to stop automated messages (spam).
We use this to reply, check availability and send you an offer. The legal basis is your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the consent you tick in the form.
Personalised offer links
When we send you an offer through a link such as micus-barn.ro/oferta/..., we record which pages of the offer were read, for how long, the device type (phone, tablet or computer) and the browser. The offer page says so.
We do this to improve our offers (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No cookies are used: your browser only keeps a random visit code, deleted when you close the tab. Reading data is deleted automatically after 12 months.
Cookies
The site uses a single cookie, “october_session”, strictly necessary for the form to work securely. It expires after 2 hours. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
We use no statistics cookies (such as Google Analytics) and no advertising cookies (such as the Facebook Pixel). If we ever add such services, we will ask for your consent first.
External services
The Google map loads only when you press “Show the map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google, which applies its own privacy policy.
Fonts, images and all other content are served from our own server. Links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Waze or Google Maps open those services, which have their own rules.
Form data is stored with our web hosting provider and emailed only to the Micus Barn team.
How long we keep data
Offer requests: while we discuss your event and, if no contract follows, for at most 2 years after the last message. If we sign a contract, the necessary data is kept as long as the law requires, for example for accounting.
Offer reading data: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
For any request, write to events@micus-barn.ro. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights were breached, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
